I love my job.
I walked in to work today and was confronted by an Unexpected Mars Rover! It was a full-scale model of Curiosity (which will be arriving on Mars in August) that had been delivered yesterday. It was ten feet across. Who else can walk into work and be surprised by a giant Mars Rover? Not a lot of people, I can tell you.

In wholly unrelated news, we watched "Planet of the Dead" last night. It was terrible. I mean, there are the roots of a good story there (I recognized some bits from "The Horns of Nimon" ...not that that was exactly a good story...) but it was just really really badly done.
I'm actually starting to be offended by how they're dealing with UNIT. Specifically, the dynamic of all the UNIT people fangirling like crazy and the Doctor being generally abusive in return. :/ Not good.
