Parasite Eve came in on Monday, and I'm only about a third of the way through, but I like it. It's a bit too heavy on the medical jargon, though; it just kind of dumps all this unnecessary information about certain procedures on the reader that does nothing to further the plot, so either the translator felt the need to pad things out, or the original author did. At least there's a little section explaining stuff like beta oxidizers so you have a grasp--however tenuous--on what the characters talk about at times, and it's really detailed (to the point of making me squirm during the fairly lengthy kidney transplant scene). I just wish there wasn't this huge sticker obscuring the cover art.
Father's car is still fucked up, and I don't know when he's going to get it fixed. He said something about taking in one of his failed trucks and the car so that at least something of his was working. I just wish he'd get rid of one of the trucks; we really don't need two of them, and he's talking about replacing a gas line on the rusty, shitty one? Why waste the cash? I just don't like having to trade use of my car so much.
I'm excited for Courtney's party on Saturday! I need to hang up my tie, get it straightened out, but it's going to be a lot of fun.
I've been playing Mega Man X Collection lately, and I remember why I love those games so much.
