Well...Breyzy pretty much said all of the characters I was thinking of being possible fits for you for this theme! XD Actually, I'm kind of surprised she said Nausicaä overall since that was the character I was leaning the most towards voting you even more I opening this application (so at least I know I wasn't really off on that front then!). ♥
Nausicaä can be rather obvious about her emotions at times. She's both intelligent and an intellectual, which can be seen in how she devotes so much of her time to research and experimentation to help her people...and she really does seem to enjoy learning things and solving puzzles or riddles (as she's a lot more open to exploring the world around her than any of the other characters in the film are inclined to do, and she's always asking "Why?" a lot more as well)--as that's when she always seems to be her happiest in the film. She picks up on things very quickly, and is quite compassionate and tries to see things from all different sorts of perspectives too (even her bonding with the wildlife showcases this as a lot of people consider them too dangerous to do so...but she views them as having just as much stake in the world as anyone else does). Being fair is important to her, and she always tries to stay true to her beliefs. She's can fall into a more relaxed state once she's gotten to know someone better, and while she doesn't really like hurting others and tries to avoid doing so...she can and will if she feels it is necessary and she has something to protect. She's very protective of her friends and family too, as can be seen in how she interacts with the people of the Valley of the Wind. And she'd much rather solve arguments peaceably when possible. She can be impatient with people who really aren't willing to learn, and she can be stubborn and opinionated too.
Snarky, stubborn, over-emotional, temperamental, sarcastic, intelligent, compassionate, witty, determined, loyal, and creative are all personality traits that Nausicaä displays throughout the film. She's very calm for the most part, but if something really upsets her (such as the death of her father, or when she hears talk of how The Valley of the Wind was going to be sacrificed as part of a military plan) she can fly off the handle...and she can act irrationally at that point (she pretty much tries to attack a large group of people without thinking in both instances due to her emotional distress). She dislikes wanton cruelty very much as well, and how others would describe you both from a first impression stance and once they've gotten to know you definitely fits with Nausicaä as well.
Nausicaä is more of an optimist/idealist who sometimes can be realistic...and she prefers hoping for the best. She can be cautious, calm, leans more towards trusting unless someone gives her a reason not to be, can be reserved when interacting with others at first, can be either dependent or independent depending on the situation, is persistent when the situation calls for it but can go with the flow in other instances (quite literally in a few scenes, if I remember them correctly! :D), and I could see her in your response to the "confident or modest" question too.
Your thoughts and approach to conflict are very fitting for Nausicaä, and she would definitely fight in the "world-altering battle" for the same reasoning as well. Nausicaä is a caring, thoughtful, peaceful, intelligent, and capable character...which are traits I've always associated your responses with! :D
