Sorry to keep everyone waiting, but here are the results for Round 2's Comeback Challenge! You guys made it so hard to choose!

* This icon is my favourite out of all the icons in this table. The colours are very beautifully brought out, and gives a watercolour sort of feel. Also, the text is done very nicely. Beautiful work!
* #29 because the colouring is gorgeous and the overall layout is lovely.
* The coloring is beautiful! Not overpowering or washed out at all. The brush on the side compliments the image as well
* I love the use of light textures, and the typography is superb!
* This icon caught my eye, because of the rich blue colors and nice coloring. The textures used is also a nice addition to the icon.
* I really adore the colour in this icon, as well as the nicely placed text that isn't too obvious and it adds very nicely to the icon as a whole.

* the brush and the texture used matches well with the image. I love the colors of blue used!
* The various tones of blue work together really well and the composition is detailed yet elegant.
* The pastelly and soft feeling of this icon is very nice. The use of textures is very good, and the typography is beautiful. ^^
* Okay. I love this because (1) the shades of blue are very carefully picked out! They gradient, they slide in and over each other smoothly, without either being too strong, or being to pale. The way it gradients---to the left, from above, the very pale powder blue, and the dark indigo overlap as it goes down---somehow compliments the way Naoto is "gradiented" too: from below, she seems to fade to white, but her hair is the same deep indigo of the rectangular overlap to the left. The text fills in what would have been static space, without totally overwhelming the overall effect. :) <3 this!
* the textures look very nice with the picture, the text is really lovely, the coloring is REALLY nice as well.
* I love the watercolour-type colouring, and the gentle colour scheme. The blue looks really good on the beige :D! And I love the text :D!
* love the colouring, texture and the font!!! use of texture/or brush(?) at the side matches the image colour quite nicely.

* I really love the simplicity of this icon. It's so clear-cut, but at the same time very stylish and attractive. It shows really good disciplin, as well as excellent color choice. =D
* The text is what caught my eye; it fits the image used and isn't too jarring or too small. The bright blue coloring looks great and is very appealing. Overall, a great job done!
* This icon looks very clean which is a nice change from the layers of textures a lot of icons have. The text is also fitting as is the beautiful blue of her outfit.
* I'm partial to simple, neatly made icons with just the right amount of texture for added interest and this icon is a good example of that. Image quality, cropping, composition, coloring and text work are all excellent. However, I think there would've been a better choice for the icon's caption, but the one it has now isn't a big problem. I especially like the icon's coloring, how well the character's blue coat complements the creamy beige background. I think it's very appealing.

* I'm usually not all that fond of icons that have that "magazine article" feel with text to the left in a thick border and an image to the right, but this one is just very eyecatching. The coloring is lovely, the use of light textures is very flattering, and overall it has a nicer composition than most icons in this style.
(#03) by threeleaf (adaneko's choice) adaneko's comments: I just love the composition of this icon. Most of the other icons didn't use another image so this one really stood out to me. The cut-out is very clean, and the way the two smaller images on the right are cropped very well. All the pieces including the text are well-integrated. While the colors are a tad washed out for my personal tastes, the colors are still very coherent and the delicate quality is very nice. Very nice integration and execution!!
Critiques:
* Nice composition and use of textures. This is a really good icon. :3
* I like the coloring and the placement of the smaller pictures as background images.
* The shiny colours here are just gorgeous. I also really love how you managed to incorporate the other two characters in at the side as well. :D
* I really like the coloring on the icon, and just in general how the icon flows together. The blues and yellow really look nice.
* I like the composition of this icon and the patterns used.
(#25) by powercorrupts (nyaabo's choice) nyaabo's comments: The icon initially caught my eye because of the cropping and coloring. Most of the people who used this image cropped Heine in similar styles, but this one is interesting because the iconist chose not to focus the icon on the upper body. It's great because it's different, but you can still tell what the icon is of. The coloring on this icon caught my attention too because it was so vibrant, and the shading is great. The text filled up the upper part of the background nicely, and the font fit the icon oddly well. The strip of texture on the left was a nice touch too. A great, eyecatching icon!
Critiques:
* the bold coloring, the creative crop, and the aesthetics of the text are all great. Mostly, the coloring is beautifully vivid.
* The coloring of the image is gorgeous. It just looks like an anime image rather than colored manga. The lightening used only enhances that. I also think it's an interesting crop, different rather than focusing on the face.
* interesting color choice and style here. I like the coloring and the text, although simple, echoes the stance of the character.
* This crop is creative and still looks good(ie. It doesn't look like his head was chopped off. xD). It's a great icon overall.
* #25 because the crop is awesome.

* As with #19, the blue colors really stand out well here, and bring some life to the original manga image. I like the use of text and textures here, it's done simply but nicely.
* the cropping is what really draws me to this icon; it's nice and simple but original. I love the shading on his jacket, and the coloring in general is good. bright blue tends to work well with warm colors like this. my only problem is the strip of texture on the left (which is mildly distracting) and the text, which I think could have been done better without the dropshadow effect.
* the cropping is great and the coloring looks wonderfully bright and colorful. the shading done on haine looks awesome and really adds to the overall icon. however, the orange strip of icon on the side is distracting. also, the text could have been done better.
