Round Two: Planning & Discussion
ROUND 02 Planning & Discussion.
Alright so since round 01 is about to wrap up. I thought it'd be appropriate to find out what we should do for round 2, as well as for when we will start it. I have a couple of ideas under the cut & I'd really like to hear what you guys think of them as well as you guys feel like doing for RD02.
→ option 1 : REGULAR LIMS ROUND: FAVORITE ANIMES / FREE THEME ( 8+rds, 8+ weeks ) - Simple round idea. You guys would vote/poll/etc on what your favorite anime's would be, then the 8+ challenges would involve iconing the top series. It's basically a normal round but the challenges would be series based instead of free choice like round 01. EDIT: Oooorrrr free choice like round 01.
→ option 2 : TURBO STYLED LIMS ROUND ( 12rds, 6+ weeks ) - A turbo styled lims is essentially works like a regular lims but you make all 12 icons beforehand in a month or so. Afterwards you vote regularly until there's just one icon maker standing. I LOVE the idea of a turbo styled lims round but loathe it at the same time. It's great because it allows you time to make your best icon, or just taking your time making them instead or rushing. (At the same time it may be the downfall because I know everyone here is a procrastinator.) LULZ SORRY FOR THE SHIT EXPLANATION.
Examples of a turbo-styled LIMS: turbo_lims & disney_turbo
→ option 3 : WIMS: WORST ICON MAKER STANDING ( 5+rds, 5+ weeks ) - MY FIRST BRAINCHILD FROM SLEEPLESS NIGHTS. OH GOD REMEMBER CHALLENGE 05? WELL AFTER THE AMAZING TURNOUT (BASICALLY OUT OF NOWHERE) I GOT THE IDEA OF DOING A WIMS, A WORST ICON MAKER STANDING. It would work as a regular lims but instead of looking for the BEST we'd be looking for the WORST. This would basically be a ~fun round & it would make you ~work lol you'd be making shitty icons. It'd probably be a short round considering the fact that we wouldn't get that much of great turnout or so I think.
→ option 4 : REGULAR LIMS ROUND: 7 LAYERS OF TRENDS ( 7+rds, 7+ weeks ) - This is the second brainchild of one of my many sleepless nights. I'm still working on this idea, but it'd be basically a round consisting of iconing popular trends, mistakes, etc. from the past couple of years for the fun of it. I hope I don't offend anyone tho. Some examples of what I'm saying:

Selective Coloring
→ option 5 : TOURNAMENT STYLED LIMS ROUND ( ?rds, ? weeks ) - This is basically a lims that consists of weekly one-on-one challenges. The lowest-scoring icon in each match is eliminated while the other moves on. There are no skips so not submitting on time will result in elimination.* More information over here.ONLY IF ASTRO DOESN'T DO HER ROUND THO.

→ option 7 : GUESS WHO ROUND ( ?rds, ? weeks ) - IDK WTF. Guess who round to find out the identity of an iconmaker? I don't know this idea is STILL in process, actually it has been for months. I haven't been able to come up with something decent.
→ option 8 : NOTHING, GIVE IT UP PAM.
