So I'm flipping through the channels on my brand spanking new digital cable, and I get to VH1 (I know this is something I should never do, I should have skipped right on over it), and they're showing their 50 worst songs ever. Number 29 was Meatloaf's "I Would Do Anything for Love, but I Won't Do That". What got me about this was that the reason their "experts" gave for labelling this one of their worst songs ever was NOT that it was a month long, but rather that "he never tells you what he won't do".
I suppose it's possible that these people keep listening to the 7 minute intro and getting sick of it and turning it off, but last time I heard that song, he absolutely DOES say what he won't do for love.
Maybe I've been heavily drugged without my knowledge, and I imagine all of this.
Who knows?
