i love that it's monday and i'm in an incredibly good...no, GREAT mood. when else in the history of time could i make that statement, other than the few times i've crushed on someone this hard??
latest update: he accepted my friend request on facebook. i was embarassed. then, in a moment of weakness, i sent him a one line message telling him "i hope you found something fun to do this weekend...or at least, i hope you beat call of duty 2. :) see you monday". he did not write back, and i convinced myself that it was ok...it didn't mean he hates my guts. haha
today, he came in for his appointment and immediately says to me, "hey there, facebook friend. i got your message really late last night so i didn't have time to respond. but yes, i had a nice weekend...you?"
i didn't tell him how i spent 1/2 of sunday afternoon looking at his pictures and drooling over them, and the other half watching the entire first season of 30 rock on netflix instant. but he could probably tell because my face was instantly purple ANDDD again with the sweating! what the hell! why am i such a beast!??
we talked a lot about past jobs we've worked. apparently he's held some really interesting jobs, and the more he talked the more i wanted to lick his face. i swear, his appointments are like dates. i mean, i give him exercises to do, but all the while we're getting to know eachother on this intimate level. we talk about relationships.. life goals, and family traditions...but ALWAYS this sexual tension lingers. i've learned not to eat on days that he's coming in because my stomach can't handle food AND his sex appeal. the one time i ate breakfast before he came in, i must have pooped 15 times in the bathroom down the corridor, where no one goes. HAHA
i actually ran into a former patient of mine on the street while i was walking to get lunch and she even said to me "Lauren, you look great...what's new?" and i knew it was because i was smiling ear to ear and
practically skipping down the street.
