And I keep forgetting how hardcore the first ep is. I mean, shit, they brainwashed a bunch of children to believe Blake had raped them just so they could frame Blake as a nonce. How fucking evil is that?!? D:
Alright. Thanks with the names. I thought I had heard her say Jenna, but I had no clue how they spelled that in the future. And of course Vila said his full name or first and last name, and ran it all together, so I couldn't tell that it was just Vila.
And the first ep was pretty hardcore with the evil. Those security guards really were freaking me out.
But it oddly gave me SUCH an 80s vibe. I mean the guy had a space walkman and space ray bans. He so fucking did!
There is something slightly vulcan about Tel now that you mention it. It's the way his face NEVER MOVES when he speaks, and even emotes.
Anyway, I'm DLing another ep right now, to watch before I sleep, so I'll review that ep afterwards. 59%!
I love the eye Walkman! It makes a repeat appearance in a later episode:).
And wooyay! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. It really hits its stride in S2, so don't give up on, well... stuff like The Web, which is a bit like a very very facepalmy DW episode. Although it has bucketloads of Blake/Avon slash and and and basically THE WHOLE SHOW RUNS ON SLASH in a bit. Also, ep 3 has Brian Blessed. Exploding in space.
