like an abyss
my life was taken
never happy
always forsaken
then you arrived
and i felt free
because i have strived
to liberate me
you helped me to see
the things that matter
and helped me to be
happy in the latter
for this i thank you
you gave me hope
you have been true
and helped to cope
am i falling
or am i still
because you move me
and its a thrill
this new feeling
strong and true
is it love?
or is it you?
