Well?
What can I say? I've been on vacation for the last week or so. And guess where? Surprise! We're back in Morgan Hill at the faulkner residence until tuesday.
Why?
Our bathroom is in the process of being remodeled. They're almost done. Maybe I'll post some pictures!
As for the stay here, it's been cool! no fights! And the work is shared, so that not all of it falls on one person. I love it.
So we're working on doing that to the rest of the apartment, one room at a time. Next we're doing to redo Anika's room in various shades of purple (it's her favorite color) and from there we will do the hall/living room/dining area in hardwood looking floors, tan-ish walls, white trim, new blinds, replacing all the doors (adding glass doorknobs!) the whole bit. Then comes our bedroom, but I can't decide on a color scheme. Then the kitchen will have new cabinets. All of this will take about a year or so to complete, but we'll do it. I'm excited!
I finished the last semester (only two classes, mind you) with a B in statistics and a C in political science. I should have had an A in that class, but I turned in both the final essay and the final exam really late (he had already submitted the grades for the rest of the class) and so he marked me down three letter grades. Poop.
