Languish in the Heat

May 29, 2009 00:09

I don't want to complain endlessly about the heat here, but oh my god. It's always hot. I have a/c in my room at least, but if I sleep with it on all night I wake up feeling kind of puffy and stuffy.

When I languish in the heat (really languishing is all I can do at times) I still feel puffy, and sometimes I just want to eat a lot of sugar and then go take a nap. I'm so sluggish when it's hot and humid. I've actually done some drawing today, and finally cleaned the rest of my pens. I'll have to remember to empty the ink out of my pens before I fly next time so that the change of air pressure doesn't do it for me and make a total mess.

Weird, it seems mother nature has answered my complaint and sent a strong breeze. It's amazing how amazing it feel. Oop. Now it's gone.

In an unrelated note, lately I've been thinking about humming birds and 4 leaf clovers and robots. I have no idea why.

Another thing that annoys me is when I want to enjoy a drink on the patio, and if I don't drink it all in like 5 minutes or less, then ants come to investigate and then drown and then I don't want to drink my drink anymore. They do this even with water!

I went to the beach 2 days ago around this time, and the tide was so low that mid-calf was about as deep as it got. Plus the water was kind of hot. I'd like to go take a dip right now, but I'm sure the tide's still low today. Maybe I'll just take a shower and let the a/c blow on me for a while.

Ok, I'll stop complaining now.

saipan, annoyed, heat, hot
