Finally!
I have found myself a place to live! I get to move in on the 1st too, which is perfect!
Joette and I had our final discussion, and she's was very excited to finally, officially offer me the apartment.
The apartment is in a house that is split up into 3 units. Mine's the upstairs apartment. The house was built in 1890 and is painted yellow with blue trim. It's right in the neighborhood where I initially wanted to live too! Trader Joe's is a couple of blocks away, as are coffee shops, restaurants, parks, and other fun things.
If you want to send me presents, I can email you my new address. ;)
The house is on one of the more main streets, so it might be a little noisy which would be the only drawback, but I just figure that's part of living in the city!
Obviously, I'm very excited about this. Finally something has worked out!!
I also had a really good interview at a Temp agency yesterday. The woman was really impressed with my scores on the spelling tests and the alphabetical filing test. I cleaned up on the long division too.
She seemed eager to get all the formalities like the background check, reference check, and phone interview, over with as soon as possible. I think that's a good sign. So maybe I'll even have some temp work to go with my new apartment. :)
