It was hilarious to find you so quickly in the Google image search. It is even stranger to have you link to something written by someone i know.

Ha ha - and I already don't even really remember where I got the link from, I guess it was someone's twitter or something. Speaking of which, today I saw two people I follow on twitter messaging to each other, who I know from two completely different contexts - one's a student of mine and one's from a forum I frequent. Turns out they don't know each other IRL but read each other's blogs.

That was cool.

Holy Crap. Please to tell me, how on earth did he get published? Or is it a really small publisher? ... Hope that's not too offensive, if he's a friend of yours.

I encourage you to read about him on the Wikipedia. :)

I am a big fan of his Astronomical paintings, used beautifully in the movie Dune among other places.
