In which I abuse the capslock way too much.

How was my spring break?

It was great. I really needed it. Really.

Anime Boston was great. In retrospect it could have been better, but I have no major complaints about the weekend (except a severe lack of Apples to Apples. :P Oh and a pain in the neck [literally] from the Dating Game. But that was an accident, so no harm no foul).

I saw konek0 for the first time in FOREVER. Right after AB I went and slept over at her house, and then showed her and her mom around MIT.

Tuesday was mostly spent ripping my Kino no Tabi DVDs. Wednesday the same. Except when the last step says "Apply this codec, by the way the files that come out might be a bit big" I wasn't exactly expecting a 23 minute video to become TWELVE GIGABYTES WHAT THE FRIGGEN HELL. I'll need an external harddrive before continuing with the AMV. X_X

Thursday I got up early and spoke to my advisor. Then I hung out with demonicfangs and vesperia at the Cambridgeside Galleria. I HUNG OUT WITH FRIENDS FROM VIRGINIA. AT THE LOCAL MALL. Oh conventions, will you ever stop letting me meet new and possibly slightly insane people~? ♥;; Also WTF JING KING OF BANDITS TWILIGHT TALES VOLUME 7 ACTUALLY EXISTS?! (totally bought it on the spot)

Friday was spent... working on homework. Right. That's what I did. At midnight I met up with windstar127 and we went to South Station and hopped a Greyhound to NYC.

MANGA RAID FTW. Seriously, buying Japanese manga at roughly cover price (or at least not the ten-dollar-shiz we have to put up with)? AMAZING.

Purchases:
- .hack//XXXX v1 (I CAN READ THIS THING. AND UNDERSTAND SO MUCH. I KINDA KNOW JAPANESE, GAIZ)
- Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Yoigoshi v1 and v2 (Although it would have been nice to know that OneManga was putting this up THIS WEEKEND while I was away. But it's my precious.)
- Gamerz Heaven v3 and v4 (Because at this point, it will probably never be released in America translated. Also, a lot harder to read than .hack)
- Lagoon Engine Einsatz (SUGISAKI YUKIRU FOR THE FRIGGEN WIN)
- Candidate for Goddess v1-v5 (DID I MENTION YET HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS MANGA-KA? I DON'T THINK SO)

Yeah, I blew like $40 on Sugisaki Yukiru books alone. Also, I found a Lagoon Engine volume 6, but I couldn't find volumes 4 or 5. BUT IT GIVES ME HOPE THAT THEY EXIST.

Then back home.

And that was my week.
