It had been awhile since Yoshiki and Miyavi had been a chance to be alone together. With Miyavi's new wife and his precious new daughter and busy tour schedual, there hadnt been that much time for friends. It was good to kick back with a few beers with an old friend. But it was also strange in a way when that old friend was also an ex-lover. Yoshiki just grit his teeth and smiled as Miyavi showed him pictures of his wife and baby. He hated to feel jealous like this but he couldn't help it. The always hyper singer with the smile to die for was meant to be his. His mind wondered back to that night after the SKIN concert....
flashback- Yoshiki looked into Miyavi's eyes as their sweaty bodies came together and they kissed once more in the after glow of one of their lovemaking sessions. He ran his fingers through Miyavi's hair "Just remember...if I can't have you, no one will."
After a few drinks, Yoshiki decided he wanted them to hit a few old places that they used to go together. Miyavi shrugged and agreed. A night boozing and dancing with a good friend was just what he needed during his visit in the States. At least in the US there was a chance that he could go out and have fun without being recognized and swamped by his fans. It wasn't that he didn't appreciate his fans or anything. It was just that he also enjoyed going out as just a normal person. He smiled his cute sideways smirk at the thought. Since when was he a normal person? He thrived on not being normal.
They arrived at a club that played '80's music. Bryan Adams Everything I Do (I Do It For You)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGoWtY_h4xo started playing and Yoshiki grabbed Miyavi's hand and led him to the dance floor. They started slow dancing. It was innocent at first. Then Yoshiki pulled him closer in his arms and started caressing him. His hands started at Miyavi's pants then slid up underneath his sweater. Miyavi pulled away and and took Yoshiki's hands. "You can't do that anymore." His heart broke as Yoshiki's sad eyes met his. He ran his hand against his ex-lover's face. Yoshiki closed his eyes as he leaned into the touch.
"I'm sorry, Myvs. I know. It's just hard for me at times to grasp the fact that things are forever changed between us." He wiped a tear from his eye. "Go find us a table so we can have one last drink before we leave." He smiled a reassuring smile as he squeezed Miyavi's hands and walked towards the bar. Yoshiki made his way through the crowd and found the table Miyavi had saved for them. They raised their glasses and clanked then together. "here is to a bright future." They drank in an awkward silence as Yoshiki ordered them two more beers.
Miyavi started feeling uneasy. It was if something were expected of him that he just couldn't deliver anymore. He looked at Yoshiki as he held his stomach. "I don't feel very well. Maybe we should go."
Yoshiki went to his side and kept him from falling. "I'll call my driver and have him pick us up. You can stay at my place in one of the guest rooms." A few minutes later they were in the back seat on the way to Yoshiki's. Miyavi grew paler each moment and all Yoshiki could do was hold him and stroke his hair. "Not too much longer," Yoshiki reassured. Miyavi just lay his head on his ex-lover's shoulder. The pain in was more than he could bare.
They arrived and Yoshiki helped Miyavi to the bed. "I would offer you a drink but it seems that you have had too much already." He walked over to were the object of his dreams lay. There was a coldness in his voice that Miyavi couldn't understand. He clenched his body again as the pain became too much and felt the icy cold fingers lace through his hair. "I'll ask you one last time." He held up a small vial. "This is the antidote for for the poison running through your veins right now." There was a look of sheer horror in Miyavi's eyes as he tried to process what the other was saying.
"I love Melody and that will never change." Yoshiki turned the contents of the vial upside down spilling it to floor.
"Wrong answer." Yoshiki walked over to the bed as he laced his hands through Miyavi's hair one last time. He pulled Miyavi in a strong embrace. "I once told you that if I couldn't have you....no one else would."
