Summary: Yamada and Mirai have been best friends forever however Yamada has strong feelings for Mirai which he hasn’t confessed yet in fear of rejection. However seeing Mirai’s sudden odd behavior he realizes that the girl he loves is possessed. If he doesn’t act fast, he will forever lose the one he loves.
Prologue and trailer
Chapter 1 ~Possessed~

“You took her out to the amusement park and again chickened out?” My friend Yuto looked at me surprised.
I looked down unable to explain.
“You have been in love with her for 4 years already and still not confessed? Wow....” Chinen continued the torture.
I sighed. The talk was about me and my childhood best friend Shida Mirai. I used to see her as my best friend often got jealous when people got close to her.
Only four years ago I had realized that I was deeply in love with her. I always wanted to confess to her but I always feared that she loved me only as a friend.
“I don’t think if I can take it if she rejects me...” I whined my usual fear.
“Coward.” Both Yuri and Yuto laughed.
I looked away when I noticed Mirai enter the class. I felt something was strange about her. Usually when she entered the class, she would shout out “good morning” loudly but today she was quiet.
“Mirai...” I called out.
She did not respond. I found that even more strange, however my friends did not notice that.
“maybe she is angry at you for not confessing.” Yuto giggled.
What was wrong with her?
~After school~
I looked up at Mirai’s empty desk. I wondered why she left without me. I was worried about her when I saw Suzuka and Umika approach me.
“Ne.... Is Mirai okay?” Umika asked me.
“Eh? I mean she was weird today... What happened?” I asked.
“Well....” Suzuka looked at me guilty.
“Yes?”
“We were Ouija boarding yesterday....”
“Eh?”
“Well... We try to call a spirit... but something went wrong and Mirai fainted... She has been strange ever since.” Suzuka looked down.
“Wait are you saying?” I asked slowly as I made sense of what must have happened.
“I think she is possessed.”
~On the rooftop~
I ran to the rooftop shocked about what I heard. Possessed? That’s an urban legend right? No I refuse to believe! Why?
When I entered the rooftop I was shocked to see Mirai standing on the rooftop on the ledge.
“Mirai!!!” I screamed.
She turned. I soon noticed the difference. The eyes that once held a warm love and happiness now looked with malice and anger.
On her soft lips was a smile of evil and She looked at me with anger.
“I am not Shida Mirai...” She replied in a sinister voice.
I knew it.... It was true this was not Mirai.
“My name is Takei Emi.”
