Summary: Yuto remembered his past where he could not protect the only girl he had once loved. Yamada knows his friend’s past. Yamada finds out his best friend is being targeted and what’s worse is that he is falling in love with the bringer of the new..... Yuto’s love’ younger twin sister.
Chapter 2 ~The girl who protects and the girl who attacks~
“What?” Yamada looked at the girl.
“My sister did not commit suicide! Someone pushed her in front of the truck!” Anika said looking at Yamada.
“Ridiculous...” Yamada whispered.
“It’s not! I know it! They found traces of sedatives in her blood!” Anika continued waging the battle.
“But then....”
“If you don’t want to believe me don’t! But I will carry out my sister’s wish!” Anika replied and started to walk away.
Yamada stood in front of the grave when he noticed something amiss. He quickly ran to look for her.
~Near the subway station~
Anika walked angrily. When she was truthful why was he suspecting her??? She then stopped....could it be because of the cold way she looked at Yuto?
Well how could she not.... She wanted to know if he felt anything for her sister still... Turns out he does.
“Oi!”
Anika turned to see Yamada running towards her. He stopped in front of her and looked straight in her eyes.
“Tell me everything from the start.” Yamada said.
Anika realized that he must have figured it out somehow. She nodded.
~4 hours later in front of a Yatai~
“Uso da... But if you had not shown me.... then.... But shouldn’t Yuto know?” Yamada looked at Anika.
“I don’t know. Onee-Chan does not want me tell.” Anika looked down at her bowl.
“Sorry I did not believe you at first.... I mean...” Yamada felt guilty about his behavior.
Anika blinked at him and then leant close and pulled his cheeks.
“Ow!!! What was that for????” Yamada pulled away rubbing his cheeks.
“Uwa.... They are so fluffy!!! Ne... It’s okay... I guess my own behavior freaked you out.” Anika smiled cutely, one fist on her forehead.
Yamada laughed at her act. She was definitely cute and childish.
“Umai!!! Wish our university could make such good chuuka!!” Anika squealed.
Yamada smiled watching her but he was still wondering.... Should Yuto know?
~Near by~
The girl watched quietly and clenched her fingers as she watched Yamada and Anika. How the hell did Anika know?
~Next day~
Anika silently walked to the jimosho after class. She looked down at her watch. Her eyes were filling with tears.
“Onee-Chan....” Anika cried as she held her older twin’s hand.
“Ne... Protect Yuto from her... Anika dear... Please.” Her sister replied.
“Why can’t I tell him?” Anika whispered when she felt someone was following her.
She quickly dashed into the building. She checked again. She was sure there masked people following her.
“Anika-San what are you doing?” Takaki asked curiously.
“No...Nothing!” Anika smiled cutely.
Anika entered the JUMP room and silently read her book while the other’s practiced.
After 10 minutes, their manager called a break and the boys relaxed. The others noticed Anika engrossed in her textbook.
“What is this?” Yabu pulled the book and began to read it.
“Hey! Give back otherwise I will paralyze all your 12 cranial nerves!!!!” Anika yelled and pouted as she tried to get her book back.
Yabu threw the book to Inoo who also looked at it.
“Hey.... What is a “black eye”?” Inoo laughed as he threw the book to Chinen who evilly juggled with it.
“Something I will give Yabu-kun after I get back my book.” Anika said as she ran after Chinen who threw it to Yamada.
Yamada blinked at it when Anika crashed into him. They both blushed. Anika snatched her book from him and quickly got up.
“Don’t you ever do that!!!” Anika smacked the book on Yabu.
“Ow... That hurt...” Yabu pouted at Anika who looked guilty.
“Sorry... But I was studying you know...” Anika said miserably.
Takaki laughed and wrapped an arm around Anika who stiffened. Yamada also felt stiff at this view. But he did not know why.
“So cute... Wanna hang out with me after this?” Takaki asked sexily.
“No thank you.... I have better things to do.” Anika replied cutely.
Takaki suddenly turned into a statue. He was in deep shock. Better things?
Everyone else laughed. Yamada noticed Anika looking fearfully at the street. What was worrying her?
~After work~
Anika increased her speed. She knew someone was following her. Someone suddenly pulled her hand. She was about to scream when she noticed Yamada.
“Shhh.... It’s just me.... Are you okay?” Yamada asked concerned.
“I don’t know, someone is ....” Anika screamed when she noticed them.
Yamada spun to noticed three burly men holding up guns at them. Behind them stood a girl who smiled coldly.
“Kill her.” The girl whispered and left the place.
