Summary: As far as she can remember Hinata knows that Ryosuke cannot speak, he lives alone and that she lives with him. Ryosuke and his friends took her in to save her from her abusive step family. However Ryosuke can actually speak. He and his friends had been experiments for a project which cost them the loss of their loved ones. When that nightmare begins again, there is only one thing Ryosuke cares and that is to save Hinata, for him she is the last of the ones he loves.
Chapter 3 ~The real flower~ (Slight inspiration from Vampire Knight)
Blood…..My hands have blood!
Why is there blood everywhere! My clothes are stained with blood. There is blood on my face…i…what’s going on?
Stop………….Stop!!!!!!! I don’t want to see it anymore!!! Stop!
“I love you….”
Hinata jerked up from her sleep. She suddenly felt someone stroke her hair.
“Ryo-nii!” Hinata murmured; sleep was in her head.
Ryosuke smiled kindly and continued to stroke her head and often touch her forehead with his.
“Ryo-nii….” Hinata smiled.
Loved, yes….She was loved by him.
He kissed her lightly on the forehead and watched her sleep in peace. Something from her past had caused her to get scared.
~Flashback~
“O namae wa?” A girl, at least 11 or 12 pulled at his shirt.
Ryosuke looked at the girl who had been following him ever since he purchased her an Ice-cream.
“Nii-chan shabete nai no kana? Hinata wa kanashi….” Tears formed in her eyes.
Tears of fear.
Ryosuke bent down and patted her head. She leaned forwards and hugged him. He was shocked.
“Nii-chan Saiko!!!! Daisuki!!” She laughed.
“Hinata! Get off him! What are you doing? Stupid girl!” A woman pulled her away from Ryosuke and slapped her.
Hinata whimpered in pain and fear. Ryosuke pulled the girl in his arms and glared at the woman.
“That girl is my ward! Hand her back!” The woman barked.
Ryosuke slapped her and took Hinata with him.
“Ryosuke, arewa dare?” Yabu asked.
Ryosuke smiled and patted Hinata’s head. Hinata was smiling in happiness as her tiny hand held onto Ryosuke’s fist.
~End Flashback~
It was that day, yes, that day that he had taken Hinata into their care. That day, he felt she was important to him.
~Else where~
“Ehhh? I am lost again?” A young girl roamed in the street.
She looked out of place. A bikini top and beach shorts. She was supposed to be in the beach, not in front of a shopping mall. People stared at her.
“I guess; I will find someone I know!” She clicked her tongue.
She smiled on seeing someone she knew. Yuto….she smiled.
“So…you feel Hina-chan is one of us, but has no memories?” Yuto asked
Ryosuke nodded as he picked up a few packets of chocolates.
“Yuto!!!!!!!!!!!”
Yuto shivered. No….No….She cannot be here! He turned and there she was standing there.
“Yabai!!!!! Mirai!” Yuto tried to hide behind Ryosuke who was confused.
“Nakajima Yuto! I will still find you even if you hide behind Ryosuke. You are taller than him. Idiot!” She walked towards him and hugged him.
“I am still mad at you for leaving me behind in Osaka!” She grinned evilly.
“No….I did not mean to…..I was busy!” Yuto gulped.
“You are the worse…..You leave after that wonderful time we had…..You have taken away the pleasure from me.” Mirai sighed dramatically.
Yuto turned to Ryosuke who raised a brow.
“No!!! nothing like that happened!” Yuto shook his head.
~In their house~
“Keisuke Mirai-san….you met Yuto in Osaka?” Hikaru asked as he placed tea.
“He was really kind to me. He saved my life and then he left.” Mirai sighed.
“So…you guys did nothing?” Hikaru and Yabu looked at each other.
“No……What were you both thinking?” She smiled slyly.
“Anyways…..did you find out what we wanted?” Yuto asked blushing.
“Hinata’s name somehow matches to a missing vampire, the only noble race survivor. “ Mirai said as she sipped the tea.
“Noble race?” Yabu frowned.
“Her blood is really rare. If you have any younglings, keep Hinata away from them. Her blood will attract then until they bloom into the vampires they are.” Mirai said.
“That explains Miyako’s behavior.” Daiki muttered.
“But that girl will finally turn into a vampire today?” Mirai asked putting down the tea.
“Yeah…She is not that pleased with the idea of drinking blood though.” Daiki smirked.
“Ahhh…..” Mirai walked to the window.
“There is something I know about Taichi…” Mirai said seriously.
“What is it?” A new voice spoke.
Everyone was shocked and turned to see who had spoken.
“Ryosuke……” Yuto looked at his friend who had finally spoken after years.
“I asked what it is.” Ryosuke repeated himself.
“Hina-Chan’s blood is a perfect match for their formula.....” Mirai replied sighing.
There was a sudden blackout. Keito suddenly got alert, there was someone unwanted in their house.
“Dai-Chan! Keep an eye on Miyako! They maybe after her!” Keito yelled as Daiki ran to the room Miyako was detained.
Ryosuke sensed Hinata was in danger and rushed to her room. He was right; Taichi was inching near Hinata who was fast asleep.
“Don’t you dare touch her!!” Ryosuke spat out angrily.
“I will, after I am done with you!” Taichi attacked Ryosuke who dodged him.
While the attack and dodge, Ryosuke got his leg stuck on the mirror drawer. He looked at Taichi who rushed with the knife. Ryosuke shut his eyes anticipating it.
“Ryo-Chan!” A dash of white covered him.
There the sickening sound of the knife stabbing someone. Ryosuke opened his eye. Hinata stood before him, eyes wide, she fell on top of him, a knife sticking out of her back.
“Hinata!” Ryosuke screamed.
“Ryo-chan….you talked….” Hinata then smiled. “Yokata…I could hear your voice before….” She closed her eyes.
Ryosuke’s eyes turned red as he pushed Taichi out of the way and leaped onto the rooftop. He tied Hinata’s wound and placed her back on his chest.
“Ryo-chan?” Hinata called out as he pulled her close to him.
“I love you….” Ryosuke whispered as he bit her neck.
Hinata’s eyes went wide, she tried to struggle when Ryosuke held her more tightly sucking and licking her blood. It was not the horror of him drinking her blood but the horror of strange memories rushing through her.
Ryosuke let go of her and bit his hand, drawing out some of his blood into his mouth and then kissed Hinata, allowing the blood to follow into Hinata through her mouth.
“What’s this taste? Is this Ryo-Chan’s blood?” Hinata’s eyes went wide.
Her whole body burned, she felt strange. Ryosuke pulled her closer as he deepened their kiss. A tiny trail of blood ran down her lips.
She remembered who she was and what she was now.
Ryosuke pulled away and wiped away the tiny blood trail.
“Welcome back, Hina-Chan.” Ryosuke whispered.
Hinata embraced him as she embraced her new life, a life as a vampire, her real identity.
