Summary: As far as she can remember Hinata knows that Ryosuke cannot speak, he lives alone and that she lives with him. Ryosuke and his friends took her in to save her from her abusive step family. However Ryosuke can actually speak. He and his friends had been experiments for a project which cost them the loss of their loved ones. When that nightmare begins again, there is only one thing Ryosuke cares and that is to save Hinata, for him she is the last of the ones he loves.
Chapter 1~ Flowers without words~
The sun poured into the room. A pair eyes twitched and opened up. They closed back again. Hinata was not a morning person. She preferred to sleep than get up. She felt someone shake her awake. She ignored the calling. She felt someone’s hand under her legs and her back. She was lifted off the bed. She recognized who it was and she snuggled closer. The next she knew she has been thrown into a tub of cold water.
“Ryo-nii!!!!!! Hidoyo! Nemuru nai!” Hinata whined.
It was the usual morning scenario. Ryosuke would dump Hinata into a water bath to wake her up. Ryosuke shook his head and pointed to the towel and then to her uniform on the bed. Hinata pouted and then nodded. Ryosuke smiled and walked out of the bathroom.
Hinata smiled as she changed into her uniform. She had been living with him since she was 11. Ryosuke was two years older than her and twice smarter. Not to mention twice stronger. He lived with nine other boys. She was treated like a sister. But to be honest, she did not want Ryosuke to treat her like her. She knew she loved him more than a brother or a friend.
She walked down stairs for breakfast. The older ones, Hikaru, Takaki, and Daiki would be asleep now. Yabu and Inoo were on the table. Yabu taught in her high school which she was going to start. Inoo studied in a university. Yuto and Chinen were fighting over a pack of pocky. Seriously, pocky early in the morning? Ryosuke was making breakfast. Keito sat in another corner of the room read a book.
“Hinata-Chan! What would you like for breakfast?” Yuto said as he held a packet of pocky out of Chinen’s reach.
“Anything…” Hinata replied.
Ryosuke smiled silently at her.
“Ohayo!” Daiki yawned and entered the kitchen followed by Takaki and Hikaru.
“Why are you guys early today?” Chinen as he continued to battle with Yuto for the pocky packet.
“POCKY!!!!!” Daiki screamed and now the both Chinen and Daiki chased Yuto for it.
“It’s you first day in high school so we all are seeing you off.” Takaki replied as he watched Daiki pounce on Yuto for the Pocky.
Hinata looked at her breakfast. Ryosuke had put a smile face on her toast. She looked up and saw him nod. Everything will be fine.
After breakfast , Ryosuke, Yuto, Chinen, Keito, Ryutaro and Hinata left for school.
“I can’t believe that Hina-Chan is already in high school. You are still tiny!” Chinen laughed.
“Hey! I am two inches taller than you!” Hinata complained.
“But you are still tiny compared to me!” Ryutaro smiled.
“Well, you are just a monster who goes on growing!” Hinata stuck her tongue out.
Ryutaro started to chase her. Hinata laughed and started to run from him. Ryosuke closed his eyes and shook his head and then grinned. Hinata noticed Ryosuke grinning and blushed. Ryutaro caught her and started to tickle her.
“Takano Hinata?” A deep voice called out.
Everyone stopped to see a tall man standing in front of them. The boys had a sore face and Ryutaro pulled Hinata behind him.
“Please may I talk to Hinata-san?” The tall man asked politely.
Ryosuke pulled Hinata and started to walk away with her. Hinata was a bit confused but she obeyed Ryosuke’s moment and walked with him.
“Taichi, Stay away from her! You ruined our life, don’t you think of laying a finger on her.” Yuto said dangerously as he, Keito, Chinen and Ryutaro started to follow Ryosuke’s pursuit.
“You have no idea how valuable she is.” Taichi gave an evil grin.
~At school~
“Ryo-nii, you are hurting my hand.” Hinata replied
Ryosuke let go of her hand and looked at her apolitically.
“It’s okay….” Hinata replied with a smile.
She skipped to her class.
~On the roof top~
Ryosuke never skipped class but today he wanted to stay away from the room. He looked at Sky. He had made people believe that he could not speak. But he could. He kept quiet because he wanted to protect Hinata. He had met Hinata after he and his friends had run away from that lab. His family had been murdered. He had been 13 at the time. He had seen Hinata run towards him. She had barely even reached 11. She had been so tiny, so vulnerable. He had a strange want to protect her.
“Ryosuke?” Yuto’s voice reached him.
Ryosuke looked at Yuto
“Don’t you think you are being a bit unfair to Hinata by not letting her know that you can speak?” Yuto looked at his best friend.
Ryosuke replied by sighing.
“I guess that does not make sense…” Chinen said as he plopped onto Yuto’s lap.
“Chinen!!! Get off my lap!” Yuto whined.
Chinen pouted and moved aside
“But he cannot really talk. It was because of the trauma, you guys know that. Stop digging more into that.” Keito poked his head in.
“You are skipping classes?” Yuto looked at Keito.
“You are always in class.” Chinen replied.
“I can skip when my friend needs me.” Keito replied quietly and sat down.
Ryosuke shook his head and got up. He was in a way glad he could not speak. It was that voice that cause all this problems.
~In the class room~
“So if you take the hypotenuse….” Yabu said as he thought the class.
“I really don’t get this…..” Hinata stared at the board.
“That’s because you are dumb!” Ryutaro whispered back.
“I am smarter than you!” Hinata replied back.
“Ryutaro, Hinata shut up.” Yabu replied calmly and continued teaching.
~After school~
“Yabu-kun, Meany.” Hinata complained.
Ryosuke and the others had to server detention for skipping class. Yabu walked with Hinata and Ryutaro.
“What did I do?” Yabu pouted.
“A pout does not work for a 22 year old.” Ryutaro commented.
“You shouted at us for whispering!” Hinata replied.
Yabu smiled and pinched Hinata’s cheeks.
“You are so cute!” Yabu smiled.
“Yeah, cute as a pig!” Ryutaro laughed only to get hit on the head.
He started to chase Hinata. The both stopped when the guy from morning stopped in front of them with a few men.
“Since you refused to let me talk to Takano-san, I will have to take her forcefully.” Taichi said grimly.
“Hinata run!” Yabu said as he rushed at the guy.
“Yabu-kun, Ryu!!!” Hinata screamed out.
One of the men caught her by the arm. Hinata screamed and punched the guy. The guy slapped her and she fell to the ground.
“Well, since we have to use force either ways.” The man sneered and kicked her in the stomach.
Hinata closed her eyes in pain. She felt something cover her. She opened her eyes to see Ryosuke on top of her, protecting her. He was enduring the kicks and stamps for her. She looked at Ryosuke who smiled at her reassuringly. Hinata’s eyes filled with tears. She felt weak, she felt helpless.

But i am doing this for a friend who i promised to make fanfic for so...
