this day has been incredibly long and relatively boring, too...
seeing as to how i only got around 4 and 1/2 hours of sleep last night, i am unbelievably exhausted. CLASS was alright. boring. but the skit they showed during lunch was amazing. i think i'm jealous of ppl who can act, too...
driving around at UA after the conference really made me appreciate Montevallo so much more. i truly love the small town atmosphere; how when you walk to class you're bound to see ppl you know, even ppl you dont know will say hey to you; how our campus is so small and we can walk everywhere easily; how everyone is so laid back about life; how we actually have a campus to speak of, not clusters of buildings with high traffic roads between them. it was a major reminder of why i chose not to go to UA. Montevallo is wonderful! i remember hearing so many negative things about it before i came, but i'm coming to realize that it really isnt for everyone. you have to really love being here and all that comes along with small town life.
i'm really regretting not getting involved in Gold Side Athletics. i told myself i wasnt gonna get too involved this year, but i always hate saying no to any opportunities. i wanna play some basketball, man!!! oh well, i'll definately do it next year tho. i'm doing the same thing i did in HS: slowly getting more and more involved in everything as each year goes by.
