I know manners are different in other worlds... but I can't think of any world where that would be all right.

My sentiments exactly. I would expect that even though we are from different worlds, that some norms would at least be similar.

[ooc; I know he has shinigami eyes... but I'm not sure what Lyra's 'true name' is. Definitely 'Lyra', not sure whether he'd see her last name as 'Silvertongue' or 'Belacqua'- probably Silvertongue though, it's the name she thinks of herself with. May see 'Pantalaimon' to, since they share a life. 'Eve' was actually described as her 'true name, the name of her destiny' in the books so... It's up to you, I guess.]

Yes. The fact that they did not even control their compulsion is rather appaling. Even if they were acquaitances, I doubt I will allow it.

[ooc; Oh darn XD;; More things to ponder over. I think it would most likely be the name that she is born with... but I will have to talk it over with Ryuk-mun and future Misa-mun first. Even if he could see her's and Pantalaimon's name, I doubt he will say so. Like Radu and Dietrich, he just uses the names they introduced themselves with though he knows their full names]
