This week LJ released the option to link your posts/comments to Facebook and/or Twitter; I've yet to meet someone who actually thinks this is a good thing. So, here's how to completely remove (not just hide, as with the Greasemonkey code) the option for everyone viewing your LJ (personal or comm). I've done it here and am about to do it on the comms at which I'm a mod.
1. Go to Journal, then Journal Style
2. Go to Customize your theme
3. Go to Custom CSS
4. Copy and paste .b-repost-item {display:none} (make sure you're just getting the bolded text) into the Custom stylesheet box (that's the big one)
5. Save changes.
This removes your ability to crosspost comments, and the ability of anyone viewing your account to do so, as well. It doesn't remove the repost option when you're making a new entry, but hey, if you don't want to do it, you're not going to, right? :)
