Ouch.

Mental note: do not listen to nostalgic/depressing music when you're feeling wobbly. Duh, I know, but I'd never heard the song before and it kind of slapped me around and stomped on my heart for a couple of minutes before I clued in, went "WTF are you doing to me?!" and cut it short.

Shame WinAmp doesn't make the sound of a needle scratching on vinyl when you do that, it would be very satisfying. *grin*

I put a bunch more CDs on request at the library -- I've learned my lesson about not letting them spool off the hold system before I pick them up, yes indeed. *facepalm* Well, that time it was only CSNY's So Far and Christina Aguilera's Greatest Hits (uh, my tastes are a teensy bit eclectic, eh?).

Reading yet another Shakespeare bio. Mmph. So far, so redundant. Sekrit Catholicism, latent bisexuality, possible fakery/plagiarism/espionage, lather, rinse, repeat. Just make a movie about it already, okay? I quite liked the novel The Players by Stephanie Cowell: though it wasn't perfect, it would've made a good basis for a film. Maybe someone's already on that. I'd say it's doubtful, but then, I never expected Restoration to be made into a movie (not a great one, sadly -- it's a much better book).

Raining out there. 90km/h winds expected tonight. Had a beer. Watched a vid that, annoyingly, mostly replicates what I wanted from a vid that I'd requested for the_fund, and consequently, I now feel like a total dork. Not like that's an unusual state for yours truly, granted, but anyway.

Alex is trying to get the bunny down to sleep. Hopefully after that we'll have some time together. If I can drag him away from CivIV and if he can drag me away from writing. Shouldn't be too difficult. ;)

Ah. My turn at the tiller. Yes, bunny, on my way.
