I have jury duty tomorrow.

I am very excited, but am packing as if I'm going on a vacation to a desert island where dying of boredom is likely.

What would you bring to jury duty?

I brought my knitting and a good book. Oh and tea because I didn't like their coffee.

They kept telling us about the free coffee this morning, but I was afraid to try it.

How'd it go?

It was kind of interesting -- I was brought into a courtroom but was one of those "reserve" jurors sitting in the gallery, so I didn't get to answer questions or do anything exciting. I really wanted them to kick out enough people so I'd get up there, but they didn't.

that's too bad. I was the same way as you--I wanted to be selected...mostly because I was curious about the cases.

I think it would be fascinating to be on a jury -- this was the first time I've ever even been called for jury duty. Maybe someday!
