Trick or treat letter
This is my letter for the Trick or Treat Exchange. It is a work in progress (but probably done). My requests are not in any particular order.
I have now re-read the rules and realized I was supposed to give trick and treat prompts for everything. Er, I have that mostly covered? Just make something up, seriously.

Some general things:
Don't be intimidated by the length of this letter. I know this is an easy, breezy exchange, I just have a tendency to go on and on in my letters. I tried to keep it short!
I am cool with dark fic for this exchange, although generally for tricks I would straight up prefer horror/spooky/ghost stories. Don't be afraid to really get into the Halloween spirit! Some of my favorite Halloween-esque tropes are haunted houses and everybody getting mysteriously picked off one by one by someone who they might already think it dead.
I also welcome treats, however! I am openly a fan of fluff, so don't be afraid to go super sweet! But really, just go with the flow of what hits you.
My only major squick is rape. My biggest plus is probably genderswap. I am fine with all fic ratings.

Tobias, Rachel

So, this was basically my first fandom and it still has a special place in my heart. I'd love anything happy for Rachel and Tobias, including fix-it fic. (Not that a bittersweet edge is unwelcome.) So this is more of a treat fandom for me, although I wouldn't say no to a terrifying tale of a mission gone wrong.
I think lots of people my age still think fondly of the Animorphs (after all, the Tumblr and lj communities are fairly thriving). The books were simple but funny, and not afraid to address the dark realities of guerilla warfare. (Albeit in a fairly child-appropriate manner.) Rachel/Tobias was my otp. I probably identified with Rachel more than I should (the violent streak, that is; style passed me by). And, well, Tobias had the whole tragedy thing going for him, including his insane true parentage.
Treat-wise, I would love to see them go on a date or a little fix-it over the end. I mean, I'd kind of expect it to still be a bit bittersweet, because Tobias's life sucked especially hard and none of them had it that great. At the same time, I wouldn't say no to a terrifying tale of a mission gone wrong. And I'm not usually a body horror person, but the Animorphs are crying out for body horror, aren't they?

Bluebeard, Wolf, Little Red Riding Hood

Definitely a trick fandom! I'd love an extra twisted retelling of Bluebeard or Little Red Riding Hood (with plenty of focus on the wolf). What I like about fairytales is pretty well documented on my livejournal.
Something I've said about fairytales in the past: "I enjoy retellings and original fairytales. I like heroines being awesome. I like retellings that acknowledge problematic aspects of the original. I like tales that play with setting. I'm open to gen, het, slash, and femmeslash." Still pretty true. I also really enjoy a clash between modern and contemporary (to the tale) sensibilities when it comes to retellings. (This lj also links at least three fairytale retellings I've done if you want to get a sense of my sensibilities from that side.
But yeah, I'd love a trick here. Something really gory or perversely sexy. Although maybe the best trick would be fluff? You're the author.

Trick! I'd really like fic where the island is an eldritch horror or something. I mean, obviously Oliver didn't have a good time there in canon, but it could be even worse, right?
I think Arrow is so much fun. (Just see me wax on in my previous Yuletide letter!) But the island is just brimming with horror possibilities, so I can't resist asking for a trick instead of a treat. (Plus, I've received awesome treat-style stories for Arrow in other exchanges and it feels a bit greedy to ask for more.) But I'll never object to people throwing threesomes into Arrow. Nor throwing characters who weren't on the island into the mix. They're all good.

Trick or treat! What happens to Margot next - good or bad? Or perhaps a scene from her childhood. If a treat, would definitely love to see Margot get an equally stylish girlfriend.
Lots of people didn't like Season 2. Whatever. I thought the first half was shaky, but the back half more than made up for that. Part of that was the stylish, cool Margot Verger who sees through Hannibal's manipulation pretty easily, but still thinks he's got a point when it comes to killing her brother and getting away with her inheritance and no jail time. Obviously, there's lots of opportunity for tricks in her past and future. I'd be open to treats too, including Margot getting a girlfriend (and possibly not losing her baby, because that was seriously horrific). If you do go the horror route, I'd hope for it to stay within the tone of the show. Pure fluff for the treat route is fine, but so is black humor.

If trick, I would love to see what happens if the kids don't win because Sarah managed to get enough of Max's lifeforce at the end.
If treat, I would like to see the kids going on to become witch hunters. (The more ridiculous and H&G: Witch Hunters-esque the better.)
I can never forget that image of Sarah frantically trying to inhale the lifeforce from Max after he takes the potion. I'd definitely love to see what happened if she succeeded - what does she do to Dani, Allison, and Binx in that case? Is Max totally dead like Emily, or does a tiny bit of him survive? Maybe his thoughts on failing his sister? What about Sarah if she survives without her sisters?
Treat-wise, I'd love to see the kids become witch hunters, tracking down other mystical objects and such. I'd definitely be up for something Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters-esque, but more modern Californian. And if Binx happens to survive in the treat version, so be it.
