Something that went well today

I slept late and I got to see a beautiful sunrise as I was heading back to the house at the end of the dogs' walk! That is really hard to beat - even if it's only possible because it means that on days that I don't sleep late I'm really getting up ridiculously early!

Weeeelll, the sun came up with a delightful rosy hue, but then the clouds covered it up. But I did enjoy the sunrise which I usually miss because I get up too early for it!

Another good thing that happened today was that I figured out how to make my new shoes not cut into my ankles. I just had to take the laces out of the top eyelet that tightens the shoes around the ankles. That change has improved my day considerably!
