I turned in my project for the week at 10:00 AM. The guys left for Oregon last night to pick up the used truck Kid bought. They are expected back on Monday. The only remaining chore on my agenda today is cleaning the stovetop and kitchen floor. The stovetop is flat glass and kitchen is small, so I expect that to take at most 15 minutes. I do need to check on the chickens later but Husband filled the feeder and waterers to the top yesterday so they should not need anything. I suppose feeding myself could be considered a chore but I have sandwich fixings and pantry/freezer full of ready to eat stuff. What to do with all the free time...

I watched a Youtube video about the cats that played Frodo in A Quiet Place: Day One. They used 2 cats, and had to dye one to match the fur patterns. Back when I worked for Sony, it was under the umbrella of Columbia Tristar. Our badges got us onto the studio lot. Besides using the studio cafeteria(it was always interesting seeing extras in costume eating lunch like normal among office workers) and company store(corporate tried to unload all sorts of unpopular Sony products at discount), we had chances to tour sets once in a while. One such set was for Stuart Little 2. We were allowed to watch while the crew were blocking in lighting for the living room set. I don't know if anybody remembers, but one of the characters in the movie was a white cat named Snowbell. There was an area set aside for cat kennels, and there were so many identical fluffy white cats! I think there were 5. While the rest of the group were gawking at the kid actor who showed up, I was fangirling the cats, LOL.

Foggy pasture. This is my least favorite part of the year, when everything is cold, damp and gloomy. Once the snow comes it will be much brighter.

Foggy Fog

The cats have grown in their winter fur and are super plushy. They are very patient with the crazy lady that keeps squishing them.
