Ninjas are so cool... they make me want to crap my pants.
Visiting Kelli in Austin this weekend was awesome. It was just what Dahon and I needed. A few highlights:
- Driving there and back with Dahon, singing and dancing and laughing our asses off about the stupidest shit. "Pfulgerville? You're gotta spit to say the name!"
- Cool eating joints, like the magnolia cafe.
- Doing yoga at a coffeehouse Saturday morning.
- Japhy's (sp?) house- it's Steve's friend, and although we didn't get to hang out with him long, he was a super cool guy.
- The gospel brunch this morning, where we heard a cool band, and a not so cool one, and saw some hippy dancing... the tacos were also mighty tasty there.
- Going to the Texas Thrift store, where even I found some cool cheap clothes.
- Getting into an accident Saturday night- although the guy hit us from behind, he wanted to call the cops, but Dahon yelled at him lots, and everyone was okay, and the cars weren't damaged, so we just left.
And the two bestest things...
- Going to the Peaches concert. It was amazing. She was so fucking cool, and her music rocks, especially "Fuck the Pain Away" and "Rock the Shocker", wherein she had us all make shocker hands. It was packed and hot, so by the end of it Dahon, Kelli and I were drenched in sweat. There wasn't a single part of us that was dry. It was a rock your socks off kind of concert.
- Seeing Kelli! The three of us hung out like it was old times, back in college, and we were the three musketeers. It was so great to see her, and she seems so happy and at home in Austin. She's really in her element there.
What a kick ass weekend.
