______________
What do I find?
______________
This just came into being. I'm pleased with it's double meaning. I'd say it has potential. What's borrowed is done so obviously.
“Ch. 4, The Sermon is Forgot”
Oh come all ye faithful,
joyful and triumphant!
Oh come and see what you’ve done to Bethlehem.
True son of the Father,
what has he to return to?
There’s no one that he can see;
nothing he would do.
You have blinded him
with that light on your hill.
Oh there’s no one to save us
Oh there’s no one to save us.
Oh there’s no one to save us.
We’re all alone.
Sing, choirs of children.
Sing from every nation.
O sing of that shroud placed down from heav’n above.
Sing for the salvation
they otherwise would owe us,
but waste their time instead on
ways to look pious.
They take His name to war,
forsaking all they’ve fought for.
And there’s no one to save us
And there’s no one to save us.
And there’s no one to save us.
No Christ. No Lord.

Wishes and prayers are the way that we leave the lonely alone and push the wounded away.
