Massachusetts is trying to ban open water swimming in Walden Pond and elsewhere

I am very disappointed in Governor Baker and other state officials.
Please consider signing a petition "Amend The Ban of Open Water Swimming at Walden Pond" on change.org. It was created yesterday, and there are 6030 signatures at the moment:

Strangely enough, when I click on the petition link from https://dmm.dreamwidth.org/45140.html or from https://twitter.com/ComputingByArts/status/1411709281083215876, the petition link works just fine, but when I click from this post, it does not go through.
July 7 update: We won, the ban is reversed!
