We went to the top of
Mount Eisenhower. As you see, some
gray jays there were brave enough to eat from a human hand. It felt great too -- I had 4 peanuts on my palm, a jay landed, ate one of them, got another one and flew away, then came back for the other two. Three jays followed us for quite a while on our way up. We spent some of the next day on the shore of the
Saco River at the Attitash ski resort, not very far from the
place where we stayed.
