I haven't posted in a while so I figure it's time.
Things have been fairly routine lately, aside from the occassional bit of outside drama. I did manage to finally get all the sign offs, tests, and even the board done for my Plane Captain Qual. As of this past Tuesday my skipper signed it and I am offically allowed to launch our jets off without someone over my shoulder. Tomorrow I head of to Fallon, Nevada for three weeks so that CAG-2 can get in some 'red air' practice. Not real happy about it as I wasn't originally on the list of folks to go, but one of the people in my shop managed to end up having a court date in that time and so I got put in his place. Even after he got it pushed back he decided to be a 'nice guy' and let me go so I could 'get in more plane captain practice' (at least that's what he told Chief) which, of course, is a good thing but really I'd rather be home.
Today will be spent packing and spending time with Anna.
