A day of peace

I had a day by myself yesterday. I worked from 9:30-1:30. I made my goal first thing when I lady bought 2 pairs of shoes totaling $400. It is nice to work a Saturday once and awhile. There are some week day evenings I work that I don't ring up a single thing. When I got home Scott asked what time I was leaving for dinner. I reminded him the dinner was the next day. At that point he pretty much told me he was looking forward to me being gone and to find something to do. In a nice way. It is not very often I have a night off and nothing productive to do. I called my sister to tell her we were not getting together as planned the next week, when it occurred to me that she has been wanting me to come down and see her. She always comes up this way, but I rarely make the 45 minute drive to see her. She gave me a gift card for a craft store in Salem for my birthday so I would have to come down to see her. So I suggested we get together and she agreed. We went to the craft store and I bought the 1 1/2 inch punch I was wanting. I need to go back, they have a wooden cut out of the word Family I really want to. After that Amanda suggested that we see a movie since she had gift card. So we decided to have some dinner at Baja Fresh and then see Nick and Nora's infinite play list. It was a cute movie, nothing great. But it was nice to sit and relax. I made it home by 9:30 and Scott was still thinking I should have stayed out longer. :)

We had church of course today. I only have 2 kids in my nursery room. But I suppose I will keep it up and running for awhile longer. I have the City Dinner for work tonight. The 2 stores in the portland area get together and have a nice "awards" banquet. I put awards in quotes since the awards are now district wide (or, ca, az) we rarely win anything. But a good time is usually had by all. Now I have to figure out what to wear. Now that I am 25 weeks pregnant my black pants are not fitting well. I would hate to arrive in jeans, but I may have to.
