Job News - and not the good kind
...well after all that, they didn't even bother to call me back.
I may give them a call on Monday, but it will be a moot point. The Office Manager was down here from NYC to hire someone and will be back in the office, in NYC, on Monday. All I had was the NYC office number, so no way to reach her while she was here.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.
I have an interview for a Real Estate Admin Assistant tomorrow at 2. It's closer to home, and back in the direction of the industry I WANT to be in, so maybe not getting the other job was a blessing and THIS will be the job for me. It's commercial real estate, which I've never done before, but Admin is Admin. *shrug* Hell, I can DO anything, which I proved when I entered the mortgage business with no experience AT ALL, and within, what? 2 months, became the TOP processor, and within my first year was promoted to underwriter, and then became the best underwriter in the country for that company. So, whatever the case may be, I CAN do it, they just have to give me a freakin' chance!! UGH!
Oh well, it's that company's loss, and they WILL feel it, because neither of those women had ANYthing on me, and they won't be able to keep up with that guy in a million years. I kept up with TWO people like that guy, and THEY WERE WOMEN, which made them even harder to work with.
In other news, Kris and I went to Home Depot and got wood so that he could make me a place to hang and organize all of my clothes. Isn't he awesome? *sigh* :) I've never had a relationship like this before. I'm happier than I've ever been.
