well, seeing as how I usually can't get on world of wilcraft from the library compy, I'm going back to posting here.

So, what's been up in the last few months....

My birthday was great, dinner at Franks, party at Ben and Trina's after. Ellie won the "dress like Will contest", and a good time was had by all.

I'm working as a house keeper at the Holiday Inn Express, which blows, but pays the bills, at least somewhat. It's yet another in my growing list of stupid jobs. It's not the weirdest place I've worked, but that's mostly because the parking job in Kazoo was so crazy.

The biggest news was the play. I started out stage managing the Sault Community Theater production of The Nerd, but was quickly promoted to a speaking part, which was cool, considering it was the funniest script I'd ever read. Things went great for a while, the cast all bonded and got along, the director was good, and it was gearing up to be a great production.

Of course, this wouldn't last. It turned out to be the most screwed up production I've ever been involved with. And some of you know what that means.
The SCT board harrassed our director to the point that she quit, our replacemt director wasn't there much, and we had production problems beyond number. It really looked like it the play was gonna fold at least half a dozen times.

On the good side, the cast quickly adopted a siege mentality, and bonded even closer, and we were also putting it on in the Strahl, which was like going home again. There is still graffitti and other odd crap back there from when I directed.

So, long story short, or at least as close to short as I ever come, the show went great. I think we all channeled our rage and frustraion into acting, and we knockwed 'em dead.

The production generated numerous funny stories and in-jokes, which I will share in person at first oppourtunity, if you want to hear them or not.

Other than that, life here is cold and dreary, and I can't wait for spring.

More later,

WAF
