Life loves to kick you in the balls when you're down.
So, today has turned out to be interesting in a sucky way thus far. :) Zach woke me at 5am to tell me that the Heating unit has died and there is a wonderful burning smell wafting through the house. I have no idea if the unit is still under warranty so I get to call Home Depot at 7am and see what I can figure out. It's 17 degrees outside and my house is loosing heat as the morning progresses so I may be a popsicle by the time I go to work lol.
If that weren't enough excitement I call my parents lest they give me more shit for not calling them more often and my Mum informs me that my Nan (her mother) is going in for an operation tomorrow to remove a possibly cancerous tumour. They had discovered it about a year ago but Nan refused treatment or even a biopsy to discover what it was. My Nan has dementia and therefore no short term memory which makes things even more difficult. So the tumour is causing her some health issues and they've managed to convince her that something needs to be done about it. They will be removing it and performing a biopsy on it tomorrow so fingers crossed.
So that's my day thus far and it's 6:09am. I'm scared to death to think what comes next.
