Rides taken: 5
Chickened Out: 3 (plus 4 for the days before the move, I suppose, the ride length is the same)
Summary: First day was tough, took a few small rest breaks to stretch and so on. Second day wasn't easy, but I made it with no stops. Since then it's been bus in, ride home (the ride home is easier, as the hills (up and down) are all at ths start instead of the end, and I don't need to worry as much about things like getting all sweaty and gross since I'll be taking a shower - doesn't seem to be one at this office), and the rides have been just generally pleasant. I think I've also been switching gears earlier and better to keep myself from over-working on even small changes in slope - and started considering going into the wind (the bike path turns a lot and the sea breeze can be quite strong) as an "uphill".
Interesting things seen: One seagull with a broken wing (not seen since). All bike stick figures drawn on the pavement to indicate that this is a bike path wear helmets. "Hang Glider Crossing" sign -- and actual hang gliders crossing at it.
