This weekend in (and out of) football
Fiorentina: Yay! A point!
Also: Genoa came back from three down to beat Roma. Lecce beat Juve by two. Palermo couldn't make it past Bologna. That shit is hilarious. (Raneri resigning over the Roma loss is kind of sad, though.)
L'Arse: I'm not quite sure what you're on about, Arsenal, but it's getting annoying. You win when you're supposed to lose and draw when you're supposed to win, and seriously, making fun of what's happening to Chelsea's season is not making up for what I see when I load the Guardian's football page.
Barca: I didn't see it. I understand they were kind of crap. Although that judgment might have been because Athletic are kind of not crap? Anyway, three points are three points, and while I like Athletic and wish we hadn't had to beat them, it's time for the "gotta stay ahead of Madriiiiiid" dance.
Why I wasn't home to watch the Barca game: Eight effing inches of snow. Do you know what the weather report told me we were going to get before I left home this morning to spend the day at my friends'? LESS THAN ONE INCH. I could not get my car out of their housing division, and had to be driven home by friends who have a vehicle with four-wheel-drive. LESS THAN ONE INCH MY PERT AND PERKY BUM.
