I don't know what's with me ... I seem to have fallen back into the deep, deep hole that is Harry Potter.

Maybe it has something to do with the imminence of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and, especially, The Cursed Child but I keep having THOUGHTS. Anyway here is the official synopsis of CC:

I was always into fic, but it wasn't the main thing for me like it was some people. Mostly I wanted to kill time while waiting for the next book. :P And now a lot of fic really isn't my thing.

The truly underprivileged have always had to wait for the books from libraries, etc.

Very good point. Yeah, I'm with you, I agree it sucks for people who'd love to see it but really can't (because of money among other reasons), but that's always an issue. I do think the Harry Potter books were usually released to libraries pretty quickly, big releases always are, but then you had to rush to borrow them...

Spoilers are always hard to avoid, I'll give them that, but you have to be careful. And sometimes people say they were unjustly spoiled when actually, they joined - and followed - a group for that thing. What did they think was going to happen? I can understand tumblr a bit more since there aren't really any spoiler cuts AFAIK.

(OT, but didn't you used to go to a forum I went to? I'd rather not elaborate because it was private... it would've been way back in 2006 or something.)
