No, you're totally not the only one. I said I wasn't going to spoil myself too much, but today I'm so glad I watched some of those clips. I've told myself so many times that the movies can never come close to the books and I mostly like them for the action and the spectacle rather than the relationships, and that the characters in my head look nothing like the ones on the screen, but despite all that today I was suddenly: OMG look it's a movie of one of my favorite books! And it's my favorite couple! And they're so angsty and adorable together! I think I'm turning into a puddle of goo! Even if he has silly hair, but I guess I did too when I was his age

I loved the Harry and Hermione scene on the bridge, too. When she talks about Viktor it is so adorable and platonic, the way he smiles and waggles his eyebrows at her! Over at mrs_bombadil's we were talking tonight about how it somehow got to the point where we see movie!Harry and movie!Hermione together and our first reaction is negative, because we know someone out there will interpret it wrong. Screw that! It's time to take back Harry and Hermione's relationship. It's a wonderful one and I'm optimistic the movie will present it well, and I'm not giving it up emotionally anymore to people who don't have the first idea of what it's actually about.

WORD to the tenth power! That is supposed to be one of the emotional payoffs of the books AND the movies, and we'd be crazy to let anything (especially that nonsense) mess it up for us.

And Ron's silly hair looks great when my beloved Snape slaps it.

Double Word! I hate H/Hr so much because I love that the H/Hr friendship is perfect just as it is. I'm looking forward to all the little H/Hr moments in the movie, and that bridge scene was so cute!
