Sometime after Midnight on Friday July 2oth (or rather, the early hours of Saturday July the 22nd, if you will) in Providence, RI a young borders employee dressed as a witch handed me a large orange hard cover book with the words Harry Potter across it's front.
"Thank you," I said, "You just made me so happy."
Sunday July 22nd 2:44pm.
I wish I could go over every quote and moment that I loved, feared, cried, and the thing I predicted that turned out to be true. But it's all just too much. I can honestly say that JK, she did it right. The ending was perfect. There were terrible losses and the entire experience of reading this book was intense and I feel like I cried so much throughout the whole thing that I can't imagine I have a tear left in me.
A part of me feels totally satisfied and a part of me wishes I could do it all over again, that my enjoyment -- unspoiled and new -- could start all over again. I don't think I'll ever experience anything like these books ever again.
