YOU WILL NEED: A food processor.
INGREDIENTS:
1 can of chick peas, drained
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons tahini
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt and pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Put chick peas, garlic tahini, lemon juice, salt and pepper into food processor. Zap/pulse a few times until things start to break up.
- Scrape the sides of the food processor down and add the oil and blend with processor until the mixture becomes smoother.
- If you have extra flavouring ingredients - like roasted garlic cloves, or roasted capsicum, or coriander - add and blend in briefly.
- Serve!
It keeps in the fridge for about a week.
