I can't even begin to tell you how awesome your art for this story is. You already know about the instant bursting-into-tears part, yes? I can't believe you were that instantly in touch with that really sketchy draft ms. I sent you, but you connected, and it was amazing.

That would have been enough, really (bursting into tears? Pretty awesome), but then you made *more*! And--all of it is, while rough and hard to look at, amazingly evocative. I can't believe how on-point the soundtrack is. I listened to it over and over while turning that first draft into something people can read.

It's been a true joy working with you. I feel like I met a friend, as well as an artist. Thanks so much.
