I posted a pretty complicated prompt over at ghotocol_kink that was inspired by 20348032 other prompts there. Basically, I wanted a fic where Brandt was somehow brainwashed into becoming Clint, and then we have Drama Ensues when the IMF team meets up with the Avengers, and Ethan is like COME BACK TO MEEEEE BRANDT and Brandt is like IDK WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT I'M CLINT AND I SHOOT THINGS WITH ARROWS, then we have Ethan vs. Fury plus lots of identity manpain and longing, etc, etc.
Nobody is gonna write this, I figure.
So my brain is like: well YOU do it. Which is annoying. I don't want to write Avengers, mostly because I have no feel for any of the characters, and I always suck at writing cast of thousands, which it totally will be once you're meshing two teams together.
Then my brain is like: well, you can just take the Avengers part out of it.
I was like: hmmmmmm, this is feasible. Brandt loses his memory or something, and Ethan can still be like COME BACK TO MEEEEEEEEEE.
That's when I realize: I WANT THE VOW MI4 STYLE.
