writing whining
I really need a title. I totally see this as being another "Fallen" where I picked a title and it kinda stuck but it never fully expressed what the fic is, or actually even remotely relevant in any way. I'm sort of leaning toward "Wayward" because of the whole SPN factor, but that word pretty much has no connection to the story whatsoever. I thought about cribbing the title to one of my never-to-be-finished Pinto fics, "just tell 'em we're survivors" (from Tom Cochrane's "Life Is a Highway"), which is pretty accurate, but idk about using the word "survivor" in a context where one of the characters is a Holocaust survivor.
The other possibility is "demi-gods and hungry ghosts" which is a title I've been wanting to use forever, taken from "Touched" by VAST, which is on my fic writing playlist. I do want to yank a lyric as my title, but none of the other songs on the soundtrack have a title-able line.
Final possibility is "Incendium," which will be the most likely winner. I am way too fond of one word titles, and the story is through and through about fire.
