It's actually a really really good movie, if you ignore the fact that Julia Roberts is in it. And RDJ was supposed to be in this movie instead of John Cusack, which always makes for an interesting what-if.

But it's a movie that's kind of a fond send-up of the Hollywood business. Junkets, personal assistants, publicists, the insane mechanics of Hollywood. You can see why that makes me kinda lean toward Pinto/RPS.

The actual plot is that John Cusack and Catherine Zeta-Jones were once a Hollywood power couple. All they do is make movies together, which are blockbusters, but then CZJ goes for Hank Azaria and dumps Cusack. Cusack goes nuts, CZJ's solo career tanks. Billy Crystal plays the publicist of a studio that has the final Cusack/CZJ movie that's unfortunately made by Christopher Walken, who is playing a Kubrick-like director. Billy Crystal has to wrangle CZJ and Cusack together at the press junket, make it look like they're getting back together in order to sell the movie even though they drive each other nuts. Julia Roberts plays CZJ's sister (I know, how does THAT work) and personal assistant.
