what the shit is this

So I know very very little about conventions with actual media people in them, because I've never really gone to one. I've been to wrestling events, but most of the cost is hotel, airfare, and car rental. Actual events? Like, $20 a pop ( Read more... )

dude, that's freaking ridiculous. I can't believe they wouldn't sell day tickets at the door. I can't imagine the show has fans so rabid that they'd all be willing to spend 349 bucks.

I was just replying to Beth saying that there is no more gold packages on that site, meaning it's been sold out. That costs $500.

it's kind of sad that your penis sparkle text is hard to read since it's white on white background. :/

but to get back on topic, it's rather amazing that in this economy, it seems to be Supernatural fan cons that are still seeing monster profits.

It's kinda crazy, reading people talking about how they're gonna afford these things. @__@

Like, I really don't wanna judge too harsh, considering the amount of money I've spent on wrestling. But. Still. @____@

LOL I know!

I'm reading more chatter, and apparently there might be stuff where there'd be tours of the in-door studio and some places in Vancouver where they filmed, which I guess justifies the high cost. But STILL.

I actually do not see a listing of what is included in that package on the site. I'm reading speculation from fans, so I don't actually know what you'd be paying 500 bucks for.

the only proper convention I've attended (lol, Wrestlefest so doesn't count) was a Star Trek convention. I went for one day. It was 20 bucks at the door, OR you could donate blood for the Red Cross blood drive and get in for free. I donated blood, had a cookie, and met Counselor Troi for no money. It was really fun, but come one, there is nothing at a con that's worth 500 bucks.
