You find Damian Lewis hot because he is hot, like a thousand fiery suns. If you ever feel the need to babble at someone about his pretty ginger hair incredible talent or to, say, watch most of his (occasionally terrible) filmography, you have a volunteer over here. It's possible my LJ account was specifically created to give me a place to babble about him that wasn't, say, my friends on AIM. Erm.

I skimmed The Baker. I need to rewatch it and pay attention this time around. I have to admit that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau was more what I was aiming for when I rented it, since I hadn't been entirely CONSUMED by deep burning love for Damian Lewis.

I haven't seen Band of Brothers yet. I'm so conflicted about DL's filmography. BoB sounds really good, but WWII drama. Eh. It's not usually my thing. Nor is the Forsyte Saga, though ZOMG PERIOD DRESS. I'm always down with period dress, and he does look awesomely dapper.

But we should definitely get together one of these days and have a Damian Lewis Appreciation Night.

You know what's funny? Dreamcatcher is what hooked me on DL. It's the most wtf thing ever, considering what a shitty shitty movie that was. I went into it for Tom Jane and Tim Olyphant, and came out of it a Damian Lewis fan since he was just so awesome. It was like he was the only one who knew that he was in a big budget B-horror movie.
