Posted Punk/Cena to SML for those interested. ^____^
So I have maybe, like, two paragraphs in my head of Punk and Cena being morons over belts and texting Joe with inane comments. All of a sudden, a whole new world is opened now that they're on the same show, and ahhhhh. What an abusive boyfriend wrestling is, huh? I was thisclose to making my escape, and then it SUCKS ME BACK IN. Has me watching Raw of all things. GLIMPSING though. I am not going back to the days of watching Raw from top to bottom, especially when I have no interest in anyone else, not even Jericho. What a sad statement that is. Six years ago, I was waxing four paragraphs on his SPARKLING CERULEAN BLUES~! and SHINY SILKY BLOND HAIR~! *facepalm*
I should take a moment to placate evilgmbethy and all the voices in my head. I tagged my Punk/Cena squealing as "non canon otp" but AJ/Simon is THE original non-canon OTP. And they STAYED non-canon dammit. They only ever had ONE, count 'em, ONE singles match together. Never had a storyline together, never promo-ed each other. The fact that Punk and Cena shook hands made them more canon than AJ and Simon had ever been.
So there.
I've already rambled about this to a couple of people, but I wanna just repeat myself since I do love repeating myself. But omg, Punk/Cena can be SO HUGE, and I really hope the potential doesn't get wasted. I would fucking CRY. Because fangirling aside, Punk can be a HUGE heel. Cena, love him or hate him, generates a great deal of reaction, and he's proven that he can be a mega babyface. face!Cena vs. heel!Punk would be fucking OUTSTANDING if booked right. Not necessarily on a wrestling level. pyroyale defended him, and I kinda did for a little while too, but no, sadly, I think Cena is boring in the ring. He makes me cry and it's best that I don't ever actually watch him wrestle, otherwise I will probably hate him on principle. But promo-wise, story-wise, it would be INSANE.
