Journeyman made me cry.
And I don't understand how something so fucking awesome can be thrown to the wayside. I'm so incredibly emo and melodramatic about this, I know. I've been in this mood the past two weeks about everything, but god, it's like... it's like the fact that Journeyman wasn't picked up for a full season is the epitome of all that's wrong with TV-land. Bionic Woman sucks, by ALL accounts, does crap ratings, and yet NBC will shove it down our throats. Journeyman is practically the epitome of the perfect network drama, and it gets NOTHING.
It's like Kevin Nash earning six grand per appearance when he does absolutely nothing, to the point where he actually says on motherfucking TV that he earns money by doing nothing, while Chris Daniels is "fired" and kept off TNA events.
Kevin Falls is right, though. At least the show wrapped well. It's going to be right up there with Profit in terms of my favorite shows ever that never got a chance, but Journeyman is the worse offense, I think, because Profit was WAY ahead of its time. Journeyman isn't. It's perfect, right here, right now. And it didn't get the chance anyway.
Maybe it's for the best, who knows. Too many shows overstay their welcome. Profit was perfect and will always remain perfect. Untarnished. Same with Journeyman. It will always be perfect with its 13 episodes.
